Inspired by the city-street kiosks of Europe, this small space from Monocle sells 300 newspapers and magazines from around the globe, Allpress coffee and a small selection of essentials every traveller needs. Catering for busy commuters and regulars at journalists' favourite the Frontline Club across the road, Kioskafé is "a celebration of print" says Tyler Brűlé, Monocle's editor in chief, designed with travellers in mind. Toothbrushes, shower gel, shampoo and pens for the discerning traveller are sold alongside underwear from The White Briefs and special-edition bags from Yoshida in Tokyo. And the print-on-demand service enables hard-to-find newspapers like Albania's Gazeta Paloma to be run off the presses, just for you.
