Brightening up Brook Green, Mustard is a beautifully designed brasserie from the team behind legendary Covent Garden restaurant Joe Allen . Drawing inspiration from the British countryside, the interiors are certainly inviting with wood panelling, mustard leather banquets, a brass-topped bar with leather studded stools and hues of warm green. Housed in a former Victorian grocery shop, the restaurant also retains many of the building's original features, including the tiled panels bordering the walls. Open throughout the day, it's the perfect spot for brunch - enjoy duck eggs on toast with a side of people watching in the restaurant's quaint outdoor area - while the melt-in-your-mouth beef brisket is a highlight on the a la carte menu. Feast on flourless chocolate cake or gooseberry and gin crumble for pudding, all washed down with a classic cocktail or English sparkling wine.
