Darwin and Wallace adds to its portfolio of bars and restaurants - which includes No 32 The Old Town and No 197 Chiswick Fire Station - with No 29, one of the first food outlets to open at Circus West Village by Battersea Power Station. Alongside 22 other independent bars and restaurants, No 29 is the only pub at the south London riverside development. The all-day venue offers casual bar dining, with an Antipodean-inspired menu created from locally-sourced ingredients, with cocktails using spirit infusions, house made syrups and sherbets, plus international wines, and a range of local craft beers and international lagers. The interior design, inspired by the power station itself, comes from the group's usual designers, Lou Davies and Lionel Real de Azua. This Battersea bar is the fifth from Darwin and Wallace group.
