Acclaimed chef Adam Simmonds, previously of Michelin starred Adam Simmonds Restaurant at Danesfield House, oversees the 60-seat Pavilion restaurant on Kensington High Street where quality local British produce is paramount. Just about everything, down to the jams, chutneys and pastries, is created in-house and all ingredients have been painstakingly sourced by Adam to ensure they are top quality. Adam describes his food as 'modern with intensity of flavours that work perfectly on the plate without being over-complicated', evident in dishes like confit mackerel, smoked sturgeon, oyster, pickled cucumber and Granny Smith and slow cooked loin of lamb with belly, burnt aubergine, goats curd and anchovy gremolata. The interiors of the restaurant and 22-seat bar have been designed by designLSM, from the florist's at the entrance to the champagne bar at the centre of the restaurant.
