Korean American chef Judy Joo puts crispy fried chicken on the menu at Westfield Shepherd's Bush with her restaurant Seoul Bird. Drawing on her heritage for inspiration and working in partnership with chef Andrew Hales, Judy has created an indulgent menu of 'Korean Seoul Food', including chicken that's been brined for 24 hours and then double fried for extra crunch. The chicken is served with an Asian slaw of red cabbage, daikon, onion and carrot, all tossed in citrus soy dressing, and there's the choice of whole thighs, whole wings or tenders along with spicy Korean BBQ, ranch, honey mustard and sweet soy ginger sauce. The Signature Seoul Burger, meanwhile, sees crispy Korean fried chicken that's been drizzled with soy and gochujang glaze and topped with kewpie mayo, red onion and iceberg lettuce sit inside a freshly toasted bun. Traditional bibimbap bowls are also available along with tempting sides such as kimchi mac n cheese and Korean fried cauliflower.
