Matthew Carver's The Cheese Bar, taking up permanent residence in the historic Camden Stables, started out as The Cheese Truck, a bright yellow vehicle you'll have spotted at Wilderness, Glastonbury and at London's own Maltby Street Market. All of their excellent toasties, and there are 30 different ones where you can choose from, are made using British cheeses including La Latteria in Acton and Peckham's Gringa Dairy. The menu includes classics like Keens Cheddar, Ogleshield and onion and new additions, including the Queso Fundido, and the Breakfast Poutine, inspired by the famous French-Canadian dish - bacon gravy, candied pancetta and cheese curds, topped off with a fried egg.
