From the boys who brought us the Ruby bars (including Ruby & Sequoia) comes The Clarendon cocktail bar and restaurant on the site of Anthony Worrall Thompson's Notting Grill restaurant. Down a quiet residential street in Holland Park and close to Portobello Road with its famous market, The Clarendon offers a cool cocktail lounge, ground floor restaurant and lovely large roof terrace - with enough room for 50 - which really come into its own in summer. Chef James O'Sullivan delivers a seasonally changing menu so you get jumbo prawns and fresh summery salads in the warmer months, warming hot pots in winter. Meat and fish dishes are served straight from the grill with juicy steaks coming from well bred longhorn cattle while sharing platters are designed to encourage casual, sociable dining at any time of day.
