After gaining a firm fan base with her home delivery service, Lily Simpson opened a Detox Kitchen on Kingly Street. Simpson originally spread the word of mindful eating with her healthy meal plan delivery service - popular with the likes of Elle Macpherson Gwyneth Paltrow and Suki Waterhouse - before branching out to open the deli. This Kingly Street branch continues the ethos of 'where healthy meets delicious' with a menu of seasonal salads, lean meat and fish dishes, fresh smoothies and juices, and a selection of guilt-free desserts. Typical salad options include yellow courgette and kale with tahini and turmeric dressing; avocado, pea, mint and cucumber; and quinoa, herbs and almonds with sundried tomato dressing. Those with a sweet tooth can feast on cherry and almond tarts, banana loaf, and lemon and poppy seed muffins.
