The Holy BirdsA pioneering food and drink destination, The Holy Birds puts the spotlight on poultry, cocktails and design. Opened by the award-winning Calabrese Brothers in late 2016, the vast two-storey venue pays homage to the 1960s with an interior influenced by London's '60s Danish modernist movement, a soundtrack that celebrates the decade and original cocktail from the '60s, which have been created in collaboration with the Calabrese Brothers' father and legendary cocktail master, Salvatore Calabrese. The food menu, meanwhile, is made up of locally sourced, free-range chicken, duck, quail, pheasant, pigeon and more. Upstairs is where the food is served, with a large open kitchen to showcase the cooking action, while the downstairs cocktail lounge invites a line-up of renowned DJs and occasional live performers. With a mix of original mid-century furnishings and bespoke design, it's like stepping into a scene from Mad Men. If only Don Draper could be found at the bar...
