The Ivy has crossed the Thames and ventured down to SW19 - the home of the famous annual tennis tournament and, err, The Wombles. Housed in the old Barclays building on the high street, The Ivy Cafe, Wimbledon threw open its doors in the summer of 2016. The 120 cover cafe is open all day from breakfast to late and serves a comprehensive menu of delicious dishes from home and abroad. There's a bijou terrace, a ravishing private dining room called The Danby Room (a nod to Lord Danby who lived in Wimbledon House in 1678) and a rather alluring bar. Reservations are not vital, but advised during peak periods.
