Opposite High Street Kensington tube station, all-day dining at The Ivy Kensington Brasserie is a sophisticated affair. Open for breakfast and brunch for avocado and spinach Benedict and griddled buttermilk pancakes, the all-day menu, available from 11.30am until late, includes grilled whole lobster with parsley and garlic butter and thick cut chips. Alongside the dining menu is a curated cocktail list of 12 including 'The Ivy Kensington Royale' - raspberries macerated with hibiscus, Sipsmith sloe gin, orange bitters and lime, topped with Champagne. Critically-acclaimed Martin Brudnizki Design Studio has come up with a striking antique pewter bar and positioned a 10 cover table on a raised area, creating a great vantage point over the restaurant. Vintage-style green bar stools and leather banquettes are off-set by brass light fittings, decorative mirrors and marble flooring, creating a sophisticated atmosphere that's a trademark of The Ivy and its growing family of brasseries, market grills and cafes springing up across London. Newly opened in March 2016, the restaurant also boasts an outdoor terrace that, with an entirely retractable roof and floor to ceiling windows, allows guests to enjoy a garden dining experience without enduring the tempestuous British weather.
