The creation of Stefano Potortí and Yuri Negodyuk, The Localist is a modern European restaurant on St John's Street in Farringdon. Head chef, Marco Squillance, formerly of Soho House and Cipriani, offers an eclectic seasonal menu showcasing the best of local produce alongside craft beers and cocktails. Delicious quinoa, kale and avocado salad and veggie burgers made with a potato bun and a patty of fresh courgettes, fresh tomato and lightly fried goats cheese are just two of the healthy options on the menu . But, essentially, it's a place for friends to get together, tourists to unwind and a backdrop for special events; a neighbourhood bar for everyone.
