The BrewDog bar in Bethnal Green Road caters for the Shoreditch hipsters with BrewDog craft beers and interiors decorated with antique tiles, reclaimed metal and a bar completely exposed by a glass wall. From a brewery founded by Martin Dickie and James Watt in 2007 in their home town of Aberdeen in Scotland, BrewDog has expanded to include a number of bars across London - including Camden and Shepherd's Bush - and the world serving beery masterpieces from the likes of BrewDog, Stone, Mikkeller, Struise, Alesmith and others. Their strapline: "No Carling. No Tennents. No shots. No bullshit - just good honest beer" sums it up. We also like the Shoreditch tag line: "All hipsters must be accompanied by an adult". Ha! Head downstairs at this Bethnal Green Road branch to the UnderDog bar for an Old Orleans beer cocktail experience.
