Stop by Browns of Brockley for superb sandwiches and excellent Square Mile coffee at this friendly neighbourhood coffee shop which featured in Time Out as one of London's best cafes. Baguettes are stuffed with unusual combinations like slow-roasted lamb shoulder with broad bean houmous, mint and pomegranate. There's a downstairs room which owner Ross Brown opens in the evenings on Thursdays serving pizza and craft beers.
