Following the huge success of the Cocktail Trading Company in Oxford Circus, launched in January 2015, the award winning team of bartenders behind it, Andy Mil, Olly Brading and Elliot Ball, opened a second branch, the Cocktail Trading Company Smithfield , in October the same year. Located underneath all-day modern restaurant and bar, Ask For Janice, the cocktails at CTC Smithfield take experimental to the next level, from edible garnishes to quirky drinking vessels. As with its sister venue, the menu serves up an array of imaginative and expertly mixed cocktails plus some eccentric touches. Guests are even invited to bring in their own valuables and knickknacks, which if deemed worthy enough by the bartenders, can be traded for a beverage or two. Inspired by the colourful history of the Grade II listed Smithfield market it adjoins, the interiors of the 50 drinking den combine luxurious fine fabrics with old rustic features, creating a cosy collection of treasures and trinkets.
