Taking its name from teenage boxer 'Kid Mears' (real name Jack Solomons), who found fame and money in British boxing's golden years after the Second World War, Jack Solomons Club brings old school glamour to Great Windmill Street . Enter th e basement Soho speakeasy through a hidden door via an after-hours street-side deli and you'll find a vast space, with room for 390 people. With a speakeasy cocktail club on one side, and dance floor on the other, you can dance late into the night on Wednesday to Sunday evenings with live bands, DJs, special one-off events and guest appearances until the early hours. Whisky, Jack Solomons' favourite tipple, is a speciality and there are cocktails, bourbon and bitters alongside bar snacks and small plates - dishes like crab croquettes, hot smoked trout with and fish and chips.
