A pub with a golden palm tree and eight private heated cabanas in the garden, The Leyton Star is the revitalised version of The King Harold pub, fully rejuvenated with outdoor booths and kegs of ale. A programme of monthly tasting sessions and cocktail masterclasses are part of a fun-packed programme of events which includes Tuesday quizzes, DJs, sports screenings and the favourite Lucky Voice Kareoke. One of five Star Group venues, set up by Rob Star - who has pubs in Bethnal Green, Kings Cross, Hackney Downs, Homerton, and Leyton - The Leyton Star is a traditional family-friendly boozer with good beer, decadent times and local street food - think juicy burgers with unusual sides. The space has been redesigned with banquettes, stylishly surreal wallpaper by Timouros Beasties and a re-commissioned fireplace as well as golden palm tree light fixtures previously used for Paloma Faith's set design.
