A 'beer shop' with all-day dining , neighbourhood in East Village is the kind of place all neighbourhoods should have. Specialising in artisan beers and with a menu filled with meats cooked on the rotisserie and the Robata, this casual hang-out comes from Faucet Inn who also own Babel in Clapham Junction, Catcher in the Rye in Finchley and Comptons Soho as well as traditional pub The Old Shades near Trafalgar Square. Open from breakfast through to dinner, the casual dining menu has house specialities of whole rotisserie roasted chicken and suckling pig alongside marinated ribs, seasonal fish dishes and a varied selection of burgers. Small plates also include spicy mac 'n' cheese, grilled sardines, BBQ pork hash and Cockney caviar - smoked aubergine, sourdough and pickled red cabbage. Alongside a changing selection of cask ales are 13 lagers on tap including Belle Vue Briek from Belgium and Birra Moretti from Italy and bottle brews like Budvar and Ted Pale Ale.
