The 80-strong wine list at Peckham Cellars, a neighbourhood wine bar and kitchen a stone's throw from Queens Road Peckham station, has been curated by sommelier and co-founder Ben McVeigh . Ben has teamed up with with longtime friends and industry veterans Helen Hall and Luke West-Whylie to create a low-key, intimate spot featuring a seasonal and regularly changing menu and wine list of eclectic yet accessible wines that won't break the bank. E nter through the Crittall doors to find a welcoming and casual space sound-tracked by a playlist of soul, disco, R'n'B, jazz and hip-hop, with the music turned up on weekend evenings when the bar is open until 1am. The wine list includes a few 'Weird and Wonderful' wines to surprise and educate even the most experienced wine drinkers. The Coravin perseveration system means you can try tasters from top-end bottles and if you find a tipple that takes your fancy, you can buy it by the bottle at the Peckham Cellars bottle shop.
