If rum is your tipple of choice, then PortSide Parlour is the place to quench your thirst. Located in an underground bar beneath Off Broadway on East London's popular Broadway Market, this is a cocktail bar with an insatiable passion for rum. The Parlour - which is being run in collaboration with Appleton Estate Rum - fills the candlelit basement quarters with some of the best rums available on the UK market. With more than 50 top rums, warming sharing cocktails, classic mixes and a wealth of infused and barrel aged rums, it's clear why this bar has won a number of accolades since its conception in early 2013. Initially launched as a pop up venue, its popularity has also led to an extended lease, meaning PortSide will be staying put for another rum-fuelled year. To celebrate, the bar has now extended its drinks menu and boasts a growing selection of fine whiskey, cognac, gin and tequila alongside a monthly rotating menu of seasonal rums. Plus, Sundays will now welcome a brand new Supper Club that invites some of the finest Supper Clubs of east London to showcase their food.
