While entering The Hope of Richmond seems like you've opened the page to an Interior Design magazine, once you've acclimatised to the oft-garish and over-the-top décor (red carpets!), you should be able to appreciate the positive aspects of this pub. Located on the road to Kew and pretty near the Gardens, The Hope of Richmond has a fabulous exterior and does its best to make guests feel at home: locally-sourced comfort food, board games, an Xbox, a first-floor cocktail bar and cake shop as well as the ground-floor pub/bar, an open terrace round the back… there's even a couple of friendly live-in dogs, Lucy and Buddy. Weekly entertainment includes Wednesday's Quiz, Friday's Karaoke and Sunday's Laughing Horse Comedy Night.
