Visitor Information
Situated in the heart of Clerkenwell, next door to St John and Smithfield Market, The Longroom specialises in craft beers, salt beef and gourmet sandwiches. Described as "a noble venture" by Jay Rayner in The Guardian who praised its decor and the "serious list of international beers and ciders with mellifluous names", The Longroom offers a wide selection of international fermented hop-flavoured, malt-sugared beverages. The food menu lists sandwiches divided into salt beef and cheese including the Reuben - salty meat with pickles and Russian salad - and the provola and jalapenos. The Longroom is no place for a romantic date but it is the ultimate hipster pub serving good craft beers and decent sandwiches.
