Vinoteca opens 7th October 2013.

Vinoteca has been doing a fine job of serving fine wines in an informal setting since the company opened its first premises in Farringdon in September 2005. Eight years later, in September 2013, the company founded by Brett Woonton, Charlie Young and Elena Ares expands to include a fourth branch, adding Chiswick to its existing wine bars in Marylebone and Soho. Taking inspiration from the wine bars of Spain and Italy which also function as wine shops, Vinoteca has a list of 300 wines, with a list of 25 wines available by the glass, updated twice a year. While primarily all about the wine, you can also eat at the 50-seat restaurant on Devonshire Road where bread is baked on the premises. The menu includes cured meats imported from Spain and dishes like bavette steak, roast aubergine, pollock with puy lentils and whole plaice. A welcome addition to this part of Chiswick which already has the excellent La Trompette opposite.
