Ten years after Vinoteca founders Charlie Young and business partner Brett Woonton opened their first restaurant, wine bar and shop in Clerkenwell the pair bring their fifth and biggest branch to date to Pancras Square, a public space opened just a month before in King's Cross, an area undergoing huge change in 2015. The latest addition to the group features a 90-seat restaurant with outdoor terrace and - a first for Vinoteca - a dedicated wine shop and tasting space with an impressive range of over 250 wines to sample and wines to take away at retail prices. At Vinoteca "it's all about the wine". Sure, they serve food - Exmouth mussels and English veal are typical choices - but they suggest which wine you might like to have with it. "Might I suggest a Manzoni Bianco Vigneti delle Dolomiti with your ravioli and buffalo mozzarella?" the menu gently suggests. As well as the original wine bar in Farringdon you can also find branches of Vinoteca in Soho, Marylebone and Chiswick which opened in 2013.
