Part of Capel Manor College, Brooks Farm, is a place to study and it's also a wonderful visitor's attraction with goats, sheep and pigs among the animals to see. The farm inside Skeltons Lane Park in Leyton is free for families to visit where you can meet the furry and feathered inhabitants - including donkeys, ponies, rabbits and hens as well as Jabba the goat and a small flock of sheep. Spring is when the farm really comes to life with newborn lambs and pond dipping activities where you can learn about the lifecycle of butterflies and amphibians. There are interesting information and useful facts and figures about the animals and staff and students are on hand to answer questions. The indoor and outdoor rooms and spaces are available for hire for meetings, workshops or functions and there's a cafe serving drinks and refreshments.
