Visitor Information
A venue for dance music, London nightlife, independent business and positive mental health, The Cause is housed within an ex car-mechanics depot in Tottenham Hale. Bringing arts and electronic music to North London, the labyrinthine space is a multi-functional community project that supports arts, independent business, start-ups and a community garden from neighbours Grow. It's a space for co-working freelancers, filming and photo-shoots, with a cafe, bar, built from recycled steel and reclaimed wood, and a club. The Core Soundsystem has been hand-made on site and the solid concrete DJ booth, built by creative director Eugene, sits slap bang in the middle of the dancefloor. Above the main room is a dog-training centre and daycare, a tattooist and by day the cocktail bar becomes a barber's shop.
