Like the restaurant upstairs, this is a determinedly authentic recreation of a staple of American nightlife. From the quality of the drinks to the sumptuous booths and swivelling bar chairs, the Martini Bar at Chrisopher's offers a serious dash of Madison Avenue chic. The effect is rather marred by a large black-and-white portrait of Roger Moore raising a single louche eyebrow at you while you sip, but if you can cope with this, then Christopher's is a great place for a stylish drink.
