Norwegian red king crab and hand selected Angus beef are the mainstay of the menu at this steak and crab restaurant in Marylebone from the group behind the Goodman steak restaurants and Burger and Lobster. Beast serves a three-course set menu with a surf 'n' turf main course consisting of King crab from the Arctic Circle, and American beef steaks. It costs a steep £75 a head (without booze) and there are no substitutions or 'off menu' ordering. But once you've digested and accepted that rather hefty price tag you'll soon get in the spirt of things. According to GQ magazine, "within half an hour you'll be wearing a special bib, spattered in crab juice and won't be able to hear each other above the roar."
