More than just a place to have a meal, it's an opera restaurant which our informant describes as "the Ronnie Scotts of Opera - but without the £75 per head price tag". Moving from its original basement location near the Tower of London to the Corus Hotel Hyde Park the concept remains the same. Pay for a set meal - choose a £35 or £55 menu - while professionally trained opera singers perform the classics we all know and love. The food is basic French cuisine but it's the musical entertainment that's the main attraction and, unlike plenty of places, you can stay as long as you like. "We went for my friend's birthday and it was the best, yet most inexpensive, night out we could have hoped for in London," comes the glowing LondonTown.com reader's review, "the singers were fantastic!"
