This fish restaurant next to the London Palladium hails, as the name suggests, from South Africa - the original overlooks Cape Town's V & A Waterfront. The London branch of the Cape Town Fish Market may not boast quite such a scenic setting but it does combine the same attributes: a brightly lit restaurant, conveyor belt sushi bar and fish market plus extensive South African wine list. Busy nights are best avoided - as staff can get overwhelmed - but the fish is fresh and the sharing platters make this a popular location for larger groups. If teppanyaki - where the cooking is done on a hot plate - is your thing you can book a table (between 1pm and 3pm or 7pm to 10pm) especially for this and enjoy the 'cooking as entertainment'.
