This is one of the best cheap eats in West London, in a bright café right under the westway. The traffic noise is a little off-putting as is the fact that once you’ve ordered you can see your food being re-heated, but in fact the chicken and fish dishes here are wholesome and delicious. It’s a well-loved budget place that’s been open for years and although the food is hardly authentic Malaysian, the mild curries and stews are very tasty indeed. Makan is a superior choice for a filling, healthy and pleasant bite of fast food.
