Patara is an up-scale dining concept serving a contemporary Thai cuisine, with branches all over London and the rest of the world maintaining the authentic flavours of Thai culinary excellence. The first Patara is established in London at Fulham Road in 1990, then six years later, 1996, the second Patara was open at Beauchamp Place, followed by 3rd Patara at Maddox Street in 2002. Last year, the 4th Patara at Soho was open and become a flagship venue. Patara, which translates as gracious lady, derives its inspiration from Khun Patara Sila-On who, for the past 30 years as a restaurateur, has brought a warm, contemporary interpretation of Thai hospitality to all restaurants. Their signature dishes include assorted rice paper rolls with prawns, crabmeat and five spiced duck, Prawn bisque scented with lemongrass and kaffir lime leaf, and Do-It-Yourself Thai tacos of chicken and prawn with cucumber tomato salad.
