With some of the most impressive, tranquil views of any restaurant in London thanks to its elevated aspect on Richmond Hill, the Petersham Restaurant at the Petersham Hotel treats its diners to wide-ranging panoramas over Petersham Meadows, the rolling Thames and nearby Richmond. Arrive between 3.30pm and 5.30pm when afternoon tea is served and admire the vista in the company of scones and jam. Pop in later and watch the sun set as you browse the seasonally-inspired menu of traditionally British cuisine, a glass of chilled white in hand.
