Bonneville, a new Parisian-inspired restaurant and cocktail bar, has taken up residence in Clapton, Hackney, adding serious weight to the areas fast-growing foodie credentials.
Serving a simple mixture of French and Belgian classics, the restaurant occupies a historic building on Lower Clapton Road and transports the visitor back in time with its striking d?cor inspired by turn-of-the century Parisian opulence.
Any impressions of style are more than met by the substance of Bonnevile?s food and drink offering. Head chef Oly Launay (l?Auberge de Chassignolles, Moro and St John) cooks up a selection of unfussy French and Belgian classics.
The cocktail menu is predominantly made up of classic, simple cocktails using fresh ingredients, which are juiced to order.A wide selection of beers come from continental Europe and are available on draught and in bottles.
The wine list is seasonal and completely organic and bio-dynamic.
