Launched in September 2014, The King & Co is a small but perfectly formed pub located away from the main drag of Clapham Common. Beer, and craft beer in particular, is a focus and they have eighteen keg lines, six hand-pull taps and fridges full of beer and cider. As well as beer there's wine and spirits, pub grub, a weekly quiz night, ale club, tap takeovers, tasting evenings, live music and special events. Kitchen residencies include a three month stint by Malt + Pepper, who use beer in their cooking so you'll find braised pork belly with smoked porter apple puree, fries with stout gravy, stout-candied bacon and 'beer cheese' sauce on the menu.
