Sausages and mash, for example, comes with not just any old mash but a buttery chive mash and served a healthy dollop of baked apple puree. The open kitchen, wooden tables and comfy sofas are typical of the gastro pub decor that Londoners seemingly can't get enough of but with furnishings of a good, solid quality, it escapes the 'not another gastro pub' pitfall.
