Sushinho is a restaurant and cocktail bar that takes its cue from the Japanese Brazilian culture thriving in Brazil today. Following the success of the original Sushinho restaurant on the Kings Road in Chelsea, this second branch opens in the City, near Liverpool Street, in February 2013. Brazil is home to the largest Japanese community outside of Japan and Executive Chef Joni Viscardi, a Brazilian national, aims to showcase what the Japanese community in Brazil have become known for, creating the kind of delicious fare found in the sushi joints and churrascarias of Rio and Sao Paolo. On the menu you'll find raw fish, vegetables and pickles, as well as crispy pork belly with refried feijoada bean puree. Wash down with sake-based caipirinha cocktails while enjoying Brazilian background music for the full fusion effect.
