Vast warehouse near Brick Lane packed with vintage clothing and accessories.
American vintage clothing outlets don’t get much bigger or better than this. Having bagged a huge, distinctive yellow warehouse in London’s uber trendy Brick Lane district, the owners have filled it to the brim with thousands of hand-picked examples of unique, retro garments and accessories. With hundreds of new items being added to the in-store collection each day, rummaging through the rails is always a pleasure – if a tad exhausting. Jeans and jackets are matched up with old skool trainers, 50s sweatshirts, flight bags and some fab 50s ball gowns, which - because these guys are not paying extortionate wads of cash towards a central London rent – are all pretty reasonably priced. If you’re there on a Saturday afternoon at about 3pm, keep your ears as well as your purse open – live, local bands often perform to surprised shoppers.
Best for:
Old skool sweatshirts and suits, jackets and jeans, 50s prom dresses, US retro.
