Ben Mackinnon brings the art of sourdough baking to Hackney through his E5 Bakehouse located in a spruced up railway arch near London Fields in East London. You can pick up your daily bread - baked daily at sunrise - linger over coffee and cake, or learn how to make your own loaf at weekly classes at the bakery which is home to a small group of bakers, chefs and barristas. Head baker Eyal Schwartz manages the team of 8 bakers and regularly shares his knowledge at the weekly classes. Organic bread with a sense of community at its heart.
