Based in a gallery in the heart of St James's, London, Guy Peppiatt Fine Art Ltd is one of the leading art dealers in British watercolours. Guy started at Dulwich Picture Gallery before joining Sotheby's British Pictures department in 1993. He soon specialised in early British drawings and watercolours with a keen interest in Topographical views. After leaving Sotheby's in 2004 Guy set up this ground floor gallery in Mason's Yard. Here you can see his extensive collection of 18th and 19th century British drawings and watercolours by principal artists of that period, including works by Edward Lear, Thomas Rowlandson, Paul Sandby and John Varley among others, on view at the gallery's regular exhibitions.
