Funny to think that Heal's a furniture brand that's synonymous with quality and cutting edge design, first started out as bed-makers in 1810. The respected brand has been at the forefront of British design for over two centuries and in 2015 opened this beautiful showroom on the ground floor of The Queens Building. The local landmark, an eye-catching art deco building on Wesbourne Grove, was formerly a cinema and that design heritage has been upheld through the designs displayed via multi-media screens at the fully-digital store. The showroom houses an extensive lighting collection, soft furnishings to swoon over, effortlessly cool kitchen designs and fabulous furniture by well known designers. Stand out items include the Vitra Eames chair, Tom Dixon melt chrome pendant light and the Orson desk by Matthew Hilton. The opening of the showroom in 2015 coincided with the launch of a bespoke design service where customers can order made-to-measure bookshelves, wardrobes, kitchens, and fittings.
