With fashion stylist Lou Winwood behind this vintage shop off Brick Lane it's enough to make this one stand out from a sizeable collection of similar offerings in these parts. The former fashion editor of SleazeNation magazine has created looks for PJ Harvey, Girls Aloud, Mutya Buena, Ms Dynamite and, er, Amy Winehouse. Her work has also featured in Nylon, The Telegraph Magazine and she has written for the Guardian and Time Out. Vintage is her passion and it shows in the selection of 80s style fashions, the old skool computer games, Knight Rider annuals and C & A ski goggles. Teaming up with partner and '90s rocker Pete Voss, they've attracted a string of celebrity shoppers including Julien 'The Mighty Boosh' Barrett, Peaches Geldof and style-setting bands like The Black Kids and The Feeling. Great for a rumble in the jumble.
