Visitor Information
London's Meantime Brewing Company, led by brewmaster and founder Alastair Hook, is one of Britain's leading craft brewers. When the brewery moved from Penhall Road to their current premises in Blackwall Lane in 2010 it was the largest investment in a new brewery in London since Guinness built their Park Royal plant in 1933. In the same year the Meantime Brewing Company opened The Old Brewery, a cafe, restaurant and bar, located next to the Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich. Meantime has earned a reputation for quality beer and has picked up a multitude of awards along the way. It also brews more beer styles than any other brewery in the UK and exports to 18 countries around the world. They offer several brewery tours including regular scheduled tours every Thursday and Friday at 7pm, Saturdays at 12noon, 4pm and 7pm, and on Sundays at 2pm. If you are a party of 10 or more you can book in for a tailor-made tour. And if there are 12 of you or more, they'll even open up the brewery for you at the weekend.
