Robert Ryan makes beautiful paper cut designs and screen prints that are exquisite, sentimental and poignant. These delicate designs, adorned with words - sometimes romantic, sometimes melancholy - have been exhibited at The Horse Hospital in London and at Paul Smith's shops in Tokyo and Milan. Although born in Cyprus, Robert is an Irishman with his mother originating from County Cork and father from Tipperary. At his shop on Columbia Road, open on weekends only, you can buy cushions, T-shirts and even sticky tape all stamped with his elegant prints.
