There are frequently queues out of the door at Macken Brothers butcher's shop on Turnham Green Terrace but that doesn't deter discerning shoppers determined to get the best cut. This family-run butcher's has been going since 1960 and is run by Rodney and Jim Macken, sons of one of the founding Macken brothers. In addition to the retail shop, they supply over 100 restaurants, including several Michelin-starred establishments, a sure sign that the meat is up to scratch.
