A variety of watersports - including wakeboarding, kneeboarding, sailing, kayaking, bell boat racing, raft building and water skiing - is available during the summer months at the Royal Victoria Dock Watersports Centre in Newham. Using a special winch system - a 'Hive' winch - guests can learn the basic skills of these exciting watersports, with daily classes available for both children and adults. Located on the western end of the Docks, the Watersports Centre can be seen by people travelling in the Thames Cable Car (Emirates AirLine) from The O2 Arena, just as they reach the north side of the river at Royal Docks. Prices are decent, with children's sessions starting at £2.70 and adults at £6.50. For more information please visit www.royaldockstrust.org.uk.
