Visitor Information
Kew Pier is conveniently close to the Royal Botanical Gardens at Kew (Kew Pier to the main garden gate is approximately 600 metres) and not much further to the Kew Bridge Steam Museum, offering tourists a more scenic way to travel. Jump on board at Westminster Pier to get the full enjoyment of the river trip, passing from the Houses of Parliament in the city centre to the rural attractions of the western outskirts. Westminster Passenger Service Association operates daily Thames river boat services between Westminster and Hampton Court (taking three and a half hours) throughout the summer, from April to October. From Westminster, you arrive at Kew Pier in one a half hours and it's two hours to Richmond - both piers are passed en route to Hampton Court.
