Hotels near Frenchie Covent Garden

Gregory Marchand, the chef behind the hugely popular Frenchie restaurant wine bar and wine shop in the Rue du Nil in Paris, considers London his second home. Small wonder then that Covent Garden is the place he's chosen to open his first restaurant outside Paris. Having spent several long periods in the capital cooking at the Savoy, Mandarin Oriental and Fifteen, where the kitchen nickname "Frenchie" stuck, Greg's cooking is simple yet precise and dishes are French though heavily influenced by his travels from London to New York through Spain and Hong Kong. The London restaurant spans two floors, including a ground floor bar for walk-ins and a downstairs restaurant. Given the popularity of the Parisian Frenchie, we expect queues down the street for those walk-in tables.
