The brainchild of Alex Foley, an Islington local for nearly twenty years who gave us the nearby The Chapel Bar, the independent cafe and bar offers mouth-watering salt beef made in-house from raw brisket-to-counter. The simple, contemporary interior has large wooden wicker lights hang over the tables and seats 20 inside. Sliding glass doors open onto an outside seating area for sixteen, creating an airy, open plan layout - perfect for warmer sunny days. In the basement is Kelder, a curatorial research space where various art projects are exhibited.
