Momo's playful cousin, Mo Diner is a colourful, cacti filled restaurant from Mourad Mazouz, the man behind Sketch, Derriere, Restaurant 404 and the rebirth of Momo - the legendary Moroccan restaurant next door. Inspired by the American diners of the 1930s, Mo Diner is decorated with purple diner booths, yellow Moroccan tiles, a neon sign and glowing palm tree. Hanging plants fill the conservatory, a cactus and succulent wall lines the back of the diner while the outside terrace is done up in candy colours. It's typical of the multi-talented maverick Mourad Mazouz who has asked Tatty Devine to design three jewellery pieces and illustrator Yue Wu to create a whole different world in the staircase. The all day Mediterranean menu, divided into fish, meat, vegetables and sandwiches, adds pomegranate and brown sauce to Berber Pancakes and you can expect fun twists on dishes like lobster rock 'n' roll and Loulou's chicken wings. Classic egg dishes include Moroccan khlea with beef, eggs and green chermoula and Eggs Florentine with spinach, mulukhiyah and aleppo hollandaise. Finish with family favourite desserts of Om Ali bread pudding and hibiscus, rhubarb and basil cheesecake.
